Volunteering Opportunities for Museum of the Moon 

We are very excited to have Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon at Derby Cathedral from 12th October – 10th November!   

To make this event run smoothly and be enjoyable for all our visitors, we are looking for volunteers to help with welcoming, and supporting the events programme which runs throughout the installation.  We are looking for help to : 

• Welcome visitors and act as an information guide for the exhibition 
• Man the ticketed evening openings and View Above the Moon experience 
• Support with activities during National Space Centre kids’ takeover day 
• Support for the Moonlight Gala Dinner.  This could include selling raffle tickets, acting as spotters for the auction

Volunteers are a really important part of our team and the event experience.  You will be given a full briefing and will be supported along the way with regular communication.
