Growing in Faith

Derby Cathedral is a place where we encourage people to explore questions of faith and doubt in an open and enquiring way. Through sermons, lectures, articles and discussion groups we want to give individuals, communities and groups the opportunity to explore challenging questions in today’s complex world.

If you would like to consider adult Baptism and Confirmation, or you are new to Christianity and just want to discover more, a member of the cathedral clergy team will always be pleased to speak to you.

Reception into the Church of England

If you have transferred to the Church of England from another Christian denomination and would like to explore making your connection more formal, there is a service of Reception into the Church of England which is appropriate if you have already been episcopally confirmed.  Please contact one of the cathedral clergy to find out more.
