Bring the children along to enjoy stories, prayer, crafts and songs. Messy Cathedral is church, but not as you might imagine it!
Messy Cathedral is a monthly session aimed mainly at primary school children and their families, but siblings of all ages welcome and come together in a relaxed environment, it is Christ-centred and based on creativity, hospitality and celebration.
Originating from ‘Messy Church’ (a nationwide initiative set up for families to enjoy fun and creative activities together centred around Christian values and teachings) we aim to create a relaxed space for families and children.
Each session a will explore a different theme by way of stories, crafts and prayer.
The sessions will run from 14:00-16:00 inside the Cathedral, on the following dates:
August 11th, (Theme: Summer fun)
September 8th, (Theme: Creation Season)
October 20th, (Theme: Harvest)
November 10th, (Theme: Advent)
December 8th , (Theme: Christmas)
During our Sunday morning Service at 10:45 we run a Sunday School, whereby children can explore their faith, make new friends and learn through play.

Messy Cathedral is a relaxed, family session lasting about 2 hour and includes stories reflecting key themes, songs, games, learning activities, crafts and prayer.
Messy Cathedral is free, however donations are gratefully received.
No booking required, just come along!
