The Easter Liturgy

The service begins with the Vigil as we hear Old Testament stories of our salvation history. Then the Easter candle is lit as we proclaim ‘Christ our Light’ risen from the dead.

The service continues with the Liturgy of Initiation including Holy Baptism and the corporate renewal of baptismal promises, and concludes with the anticipation of gathering again in the morning for the Eucharist of Easter Day.
