Florence Nightingale Service

All are invited to attend a service that will celebrate Florence Nightingale and the diversity of all who care for us. This invitation comes from Derby Cathedral Chapter, the Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity and the University of Derby who have been working in partnership to create this service.

The service will celebrate the contribution of Florence Nightingale to the ideals of the nursing profession. Guests will hear personal reflections from professional nurses on how Florence Nightingale has influenced and inspired them in their careers. The Derby Cathedral Choir and the Derby and Burton Hospitals Choir will lead the music.

We very much hope that you will be able to join us to celebrate the life and legacy of Florence Nightingale who was brought up in Derbyshire and maintained many connections with the county during her life, and has a memorial in Derby Cathedral.
