Are you passionate about delivering exceptional events in a unique and historic setting?

Derby Cathedral is seeking a dynamic and proactive Onsite Event Manager to join our team. As Onsite Event Manager, you will play a key role in delivering our vibrant programme of concerts and events. You will ensure the smooth running of front-of-house operations, uphold safety and security standards, and provide a warm welcome to all visitors. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider Cathedral team, you will help bring events to life while respecting the Cathedral’s core mission as a place of worship.

Our events programme predominately covers Friday and Saturday evenings, although additional hours may be available.

Derby Cathedral is seeking a Strategic Fundraiser to join our collaborative and committed team at a pivotal moment in our history. With the Cathedral’s centenary approaching in 2027, this is an exciting time to help shape our future.
We are looking for a proactive individual with a ‘can do’ attitude to lead fundraising efforts, working closely with the Senior Management Team to secure essential financial support and drive long-term sustainability.
As part of the Senior Management Team, you will design and deliver innovative campaigns, events, and initiatives aligned with our Strategic Development Plan and vision for financial resilience.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a passionate and dedicated team, playing a key role in shaping the future of one of Derby’s most iconic Grade I listed landmarks.

Canon for Worship and Music at Derby Cathedral

A unique opportunity has arisen to join the team at Derby Cathedral where we are working towards ambitious and innovative plans to continue our development and growth, with the Chapter’s strategic development plan providing a framework for the future.

With the support of a growing and highly motivated music team, the Canon for Worship and Music will lead the development and delivery of worship, liturgy and music for all our communities, including our expanding Music in Schools programme.
