Derby Cathedral receives £24,200 grant to support future of Cathedral Music

The grant marks an important milestone in securing the future of music at the Cathedral, helping to ensure that its rich musical tradition can continue to flourish for generations to come. The new endowment fund will provide a sustainable foundation for nurturing, sustaining and developing the Cathedral’s musical life well into the future.

Music has long been at the heart of worship, community engagement and cultural life at Derby Cathedral. This investment will help strengthen those foundations, supporting future opportunities for musicians, choristers and audiences alike.

The Cathedral is enormously grateful to Cathedral Music Trust for its generous grant and for the ongoing support it provides to cathedral music across the country.
