Junior Choir

The Junior Choir provides a great musical experience for youngsters, nurturing young talent and providing fun and educational opportunities. It is a non-auditioned choir for children aged 5 to 9 who want to have fun and learn more about music, but it also provides training for children who may want to go on to become Choristers in the Cathedral Choir. The Junior Choir is run by Rhiannon Robinson, our Choral Director for Schools, who is one of the most engaging children’s choral trainers in the region.

The Junior Choir meet on Friday teatimes in the Cathedral Centre and perform at services and concerts in the Cathedral and elsewhere, with several performance opportunities each term. Children who are interested in joining the Junior Choir are welcome to come to a free taster session.
