Mirror-like Marble Photographic Exhibition

We are extremely proud to be hosting Mirror-like Marble, a ‘walk-by’ photographic exhibition by artist and researcher Rebecca Howard (University of Derby) between 12th March and 9th April in the windows of the Cathedral Centre (18-19 Iron Gate DE1 3GP)

The exhibition explores the illusory characteristics of baroque architecture and the spatial and material qualities of the photographic print. These works are not concerned specifically with the 17th century baroque; its history, geography, or artistry, but rather with its traits, its character, and its ability to blur the boundaries between materials and art forms.

This exhibition is funded by the University of Derby’s Early Career Researchers Development Fund.
