The Circle of Life Project at Derby Cathedral

Anne Parkin, Coordinator for Refurbishment and Alison Andrews, Coordinator for New Works in the Derby Cathedral Embroidery Workshop, spent an enjoyable two days recently at Hampton Court Palace working alongside two sewers from Liverpool Cathedral and supervised by tutors from the Royal School of Needlework
Anne and Alison delivered the panel stitched by the Derby Cathedral Embroidery Workshop volunteers which will form part of the ‘Circle of Life’ project.
The completed piece will be unveiled in July at The Guildhall, London, before it then goes on tour around the country!
