Holocaust Memorial Day 2026

On Tuesday 27 January we will mark Holocaust Memorial Day here at Derby Cathedral. We are holding the following events on the day:

Stone Setting Service being held at 14:30-15:30, starting at Derby Cathedral.

Service of Remembrance, Commemoration and Hope at 18:00-19:00.

In the years since, this date has become internationally recognised as the day we remember the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust, and the millions of other innocents killed under the Nazi regime. We also take time to remember the lives lost in the genocides of the 20^th and 21^st centuries.
