This year’s All Saints Patronal Festival is a momentous occasion, marking three centuries since the completion of the new nave – a cornerstone of Derby Cathedral’s architectural and spiritual heritage. Did you know it was a gentleman called Dr Hutchinson who oversaw the rebuild, a remarkable achievement as the funds were raised and the build completed in only 33 months!
The Patronal festival is a celebration of faith, history, and community, honouring the legacy of All Saints and the generations who have worshipped, served, and found sanctuary within these sacred walls.
As we commemorate 300 years of the nave, we reflect on the enduring beauty of its design, the stories it holds, and its role as a beacon of hope and unity in the heart of Derby.
All are welcome to join us at 10:45am on Sunday 2 November for the All Saints Patronal Festival Eucharist.
