The Bishop of Derby, the Rt Rev’d Libby Lane and the Dean of Derby, the Very Rev’d Peter Robinson invite faith communities to join together to pray for peace in Israel and Gaza.
The vigil will take place at Derby Cathedral on Sunday 10th December and will take the form of silent prayer and reflection with the lighting of candles for peace.
We will gather from 18:30 and the Interfaith Prayer Vigil will commence at 19:00, lasting for half an hour.
There will be refreshments afterwards for those who are able to stay. All are welcome to join this act of prayer for peace in the Middle East.
