As part of Derby Season of Light, Surtal Arts are bringing a bit of magical light in this autumn with artist, Kate Doncaster, who is running a workshop where you can create your own beautiful lantern using biodegradable materials including willow and tissue paper.
Lanterns will be suitable to lit with energy-efficient LED lights (not included with the ticket price) and will be held up on bamboo sticks.

No lanterns will be released into the air. Finished lanterns can be carried triumphantly in the Derby Lantern Parade on 12th November
Ticket price: £5 per person (there are limited places so booking is essential)
Suitable for adults and children aged 6+
