Worship & Music at Derby Cathedral

Worship and music is at the heart of the Cathedral

Derby Cathedral offers daily corporate prayer and worship, giving glory to God and holding before him the needs of the church and the world. At the heart of this liturgical rhythm is a rich and flourishing musical tradition – our Cathedral Choir can be heard offering worship most days, and are regularly supported by our Voluntary Choir in their absence.

The Music Department also provides a regular series of concerts on Friday Lunchtimes in the Spring and Autumn, and an Organ Recital series every Summer. Our music department can be reached via music@derbycathedral.org. All general enquiries about services and concerts in general should be directed to the Cathedral office office@derbycathedral.org, or 01332 341201.
