From Saturday 10th - 30th June
Johnny O’Hanlon is an artist with a theatre background and over 16 years of experience working with people across the West Midlands and beyond. He works in educational, SEN and community settings and is most at home facilitating the creative process, with a core belief that creativity makes a positive contribution to people's well-being.
This sculpture was created in collaboration with inmates from HMYOI Swinfen Hall who contributed to the shape and design of the sculpture and also with group for survivors of domestic abuse based in Lichfield, who contributed to the positive images and messages on the inside of the sculpture.
Designed as a prayerful, contemplative space, the hope is that you might leave some of your worries behind and step out of the sculpture feeling lighter and more positive. The piece will be situated in the Cavendish Area of the Cathedral.
